Gluten free chocolate lava cake recipe took a little bit of perfecting to get the most oozing, gooey, eruption of 100% dairy free chocolate possible, it’s so incredibly simple to make, but everyone will think you’re a star baker. It’s also incredibly easy to make vegan, result!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup vegan butter, melted
- 1/2 cup plant-based milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Vegan dark chocolate, chopped into small pieces
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, almond flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the melted vegan butter, plant-based milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until well combined.
- Grease four ramekins with vegan butter or cooking spray. Divide the batter evenly among the ramekins.
- Add a few pieces of chopped dark chocolate to the center of each ramekin, then cover with more batter.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is still slightly jiggly.
- Let the lava cakes cool for a few minutes before running a knife around the edge and carefully turning them out onto plates.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
