Ingredients:
- 4 vegan sausages
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Place the vegan sausages on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until browned and heated through.
- Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the curry powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Add the ketchup, vegetable broth, apple cider vinegar, and maple syrup to the skillet and stir to combine. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 5-10 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
- Serve the vegan sausages topped with the currywurst sauce.
