Vegan Chocolate Avocado Mousse

A rich, creamy, and indulgent dessert made with wholesome ingredients—perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.

Ingredients:

Mousse:

  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup plant-based milk (e.g., almond or coconut)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Toppings (optional):

  • Fresh berries (e.g., raspberries, strawberries)
  • Shaved dark chocolate
  • A sprinkle of sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Blend the Mousse:
    • In a food processor or blender, combine avocados, cocoa powder, plant-based milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
    • Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more maple syrup if needed.
  2. Chill:
    • Transfer the mousse into serving bowls or glasses. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set and enhance the flavors.
  3. Serve:
    • Top with fresh berries, shaved dark chocolate, or a sprinkle of sea salt for added flair. Serve chilled.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality cocoa powder for a richer chocolate flavor.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon or a dash of espresso powder for depth.
  • Serve with vegan whipped cream for extra indulgence.
