These easy, grain-free, vegan crackers are super simple to make and taste so much better than store-bought varieties! Easy Almond Flour Crackers have just 6 ingredients and are perfect for snacking or dipping.
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (or melted butter)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- Sesame seeds or poppy seeds for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, egg, olive oil (or melted butter), salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, you can chill it in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
- Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out thinly to your desired cracker thickness.
- Remove the top parchment paper and transfer the rolled-out dough (with the bottom parchment paper) onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter, score the dough to create the cracker shapes you want.
- Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds or poppy seeds on top of the dough and gently press them in with your hands.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crackers turn golden brown around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheet before breaking them along the score lines.
