What could be simpler than stuffing bananas with chocolate, berries, and marshmallows and then grilling them? NOTHING! That’s why we’re going to teach you the world’s simplest barbeque recipe today.
Ingredients
- Ripe bananas (1 per person)
- Semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
- Mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat. Alternatively, you can use a stovetop grill pan.
- Peel the bananas and slice them in half lengthwise.
- Place the banana halves on the grill, cut side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until you get nice grill marks. Then flip them over to the other side.
- On the cut side of each banana half, sprinkle some chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.
- Close the grill lid or cover the grill pan with a lid to allow the chocolate and marshmallows to melt. Let them cook for another 2-3 minutes until the chocolate is melted and the marshmallows are gooey.
- Remove the grilled bananas from the grill and transfer them to serving plates.
- Optionally, you can drizzle some additional melted chocolate or a sprinkle of crushed graham crackers for added texture and flavor.
