Any time of the year, Camembert makes a delicious appetiser. Additionally, it’s the ideal starter dish for the holiday season! It’s quite simple to make, just takes 15 minutes from beginning to end, and tastes absolutely amazing!
Ingredients
- 1 round of vegan camembert cheese (around 200g)
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Bread slices or crackers, to serve
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
- Remove the camembert from its packaging and place it in a baking dish or oven-proof ramekin.
- In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, dried thyme, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and black pepper.
- Spoon the mixture over the camembert, making sure it’s coated on all sides.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is soft and gooey.
- Serve immediately with bread slices or crackers.
